Immunology

Celine Flore Ndje is a young biomedical scientist with a growing interest in immunology and infectious diseases. After completing her A-levels, her passion for understanding health and disease led her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at the School of Health Sciences, Catholic University of Central Africa, from which she graduated in 2024. During her undergraduate training, she acquired a solid foundation in immunology, microbiology, and molecular biology, shaping her interest in host–pathogen interactions.

She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Immunology while actively engaged in a research project under the supervision of Dr. Justin Nono at the Immunobiology of Helminth Infections Laboratory within the Institute of Medical Research and Medicinal Plant Studies (IMPM). Her research focuses on investigating the impact of praziquantel treatment for schistosomiasis on antibody responses to Plasmodium falciparum antigens in school-aged children in Cameroon.

Ndje Celine Flore is a member of the International Society for the Advancement of Cytometry (ISAC), reflecting her interest in advanced immunological and cellular analysis techniques. As she progresses in her academic and research career, she aspires to contribute meaningfully to the fields of parasitology and immunology, with a focus on improving treatment strategies for populations co-endemic for parasitic infections. She is also committed to deepening her expertise in parasitic immunology and pursuing a long-term career in biomedical research.
