Dora Tatieze, MSc student

Dora Tatieze is a Master of Science candidate in Immunology at the Catholic University of Central Africa. She is currently completing her master’s training under the supervision of Dr. Justin Nono and is affiliated with the Immunobiology and Helminth Infections (IBHI) Laboratory, under the Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation of Cameroon, where she contributes to research activities focused on host immune responses to parasitic infections.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Catholic University of Central Africa. During her undergraduate studies, she carried out a final-year research project on the haemostatic profile of diabetic patients at the Yaoundé Central Hospital and the Saint-Martin de Porrès Dominican Hospital in Mvog-Betsi (2024). This experience strengthened her interest in host response mechanisms and motivated her decision to pursue advanced training in immunology.

As part of her academic development, Dora is gaining hands-on experience in immunological techniques and data analysis while contributing to research within the framework of Neglected Tropical Diseases, particularly schistosomiasis. She is a member of the International Society for the Advancement of Cytometry (ISAC), reflecting her interest in cellular and immune profiling approaches.

Dora aspires to build a research-oriented career dedicated to understanding host–pathogen interactions and immune modulation in both infectious and non-infectious diseases. Her long-term goal is to contribute to the development of innovative strategies for disease prevention, treatment, and improved public health outcomes.
