From May 28th to May 30th 2024, IBHI laboratory manager and Ph.D fellow Mr Kamguia Leonel, along with IBHI Lab MSc student Mrs. Noubissi Madeleine epouse Balla, participated in the KFokam international conference. The event focused on promoting youth involvement in the research and development of tools for industrializing and advancing self-reliance in Cameroon. Both Mr Kamguia andMrs. Balla delivered oral and poster presentations on their ongoing projects on biomarkers for clinical schistosomiasis. These projects were satisfactorily received with a prize for the second-best Oral Presentation at the conference for Mrs. Balla
